October 2022 Favorites

I tried a handful of new beauty and home products in October. Some things I liked, some things I didn’t. Here, I’m sharing my six favorite finds from October.

Barnie’s Coffee in Creamy Buttery Caramel – This coffee is so delicious. The flavor is just outstanding. I highly recommend.

Philosophy The Gingerbread Man lotion – I bought this lotion with the intention of using it as my hand cream. Although the fragrance is called gingerbread, it really smells more like citrus to me. It’s a nice change from the non-scented lotions I’ve used and I like that the name is reminiscent of the holidays, which are just around the corner. (I couldn’t find a link to this product since I bought it from TJ Maxx, but here’s another Philosophy lotion)

Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cream – I wrote a separate blog post about this moisturizer, which you can read here. But long story short, I really like this moisturizer, it’s one of the best ones I’ve ever tried. It’s very hydrating, yet lightweight.

L’Oreal Infallible Full Wear Concealer – I wear the shade 405 Toffee and use it to brighten under my eyes. This formula is very full coverage and thick, not as loose/runny as other drugstore concealers.

Blk/Opl Soft Velvet Finishing Powder – This is another drugstore find that I am super impressed with. I was intrigued by the packaging and I was searching for a loose setting powder since I had just run out of my MAC pressed powder. I give this product 5/5 stars. It is so amazing. Very matte finish and it lasts all day.

DW Home Candle in Vanilla Tonka – I love this candle. It smells so pleasant, very fragrant and classic.

Did you try any new products in October? What were some of your faves?
