Trying Out Permanent Jewelry

In early November, my grandparents were in town visiting me and we headed to a pop-up shop. I was very excited because 1. I’d never been to this area of town before and 2. Because most of the vendors were local business owners and artists. It’s always great to support local small businesses.

One of the vendors that caught my eye was a booth selling permanent jewelry. I’d never heard of this concept before. Basically, it’s jewelry where the links are fused together, so you don’t have to worry about removing day or night. It’s resistant to water and tarnish as well, so it lasts longer than most gold plated jewelry.

The concept was intriguing, jewelry that stays on and is durable for either the simplest or most fast-paced lifestyles. My nana and I decided to both get bracelets.

This particular jewelry is a type of gold-filled jewelry. Since it is not solid gold, it will most likely tarnish over time, but it’s been two weeks since I’ve had my bracelet and neither it nor my grandmother’s has tarnished.

I’m very pleased with this purchase and it’s a nice option for affordable gold-like jewelry. I will keep you all updated over time on the durability of the bracelet. In the meantime, feel free to check out Goldie Links Savannah, which is the company we purchased our jewelry from. Maybe you can find a similar company in your area as well!
